Babe of the Week: Erica Durance
Erica Durance (1978) was born in the small town of Three Hills, Alberta, Canada. Her father was a truck driver and her mother was a librarian. While in high school she played in several small theater productions. After graduation she moved to Vancouver and became serious in pursuing a acting career. When she got married at the age of only 18 she became known as Erica Parker. When she divorced after three years, her name was turned back in Erica Durance. Erica’s rising as a star began by starring in the The Untold (2002), Sasquatch (2002), Devil Winds (2003) and House of the Dead (2003).



Big break
Her big break began in 2004 when she appeared in The Butterfly Effect Part 2,  Andromeda, Tru Calling and Smallville. In Smallville she played Lois Lane for which she received great reviews from audience and critics alike. Today Erica Durance is married to actor David Palffy. They met during filming of Stargate SG-1, in which she made a guest appearance.
