Michelle Hunziker was Born on January 24, 1977 in Sorengo (Lugano), Switzerland. Michelle Hunziker was raised within a multi language environment. Her mother is Dutch, her father was a German speaking Swiss and she grew up in the Italian speaking part of Switzerland. Around the age of 16 Michelle Hunziker wanted to become a interpreter and studied Italian, French, German, English and Dutch at a local college. After moving to Milan she decided to become a fashion model.

From that moment on everything started to enrol. In 1998, having already achieved success Michelle Hunziker made the move to television. Michelle Hunziker first hosted some Italian TV-shows and after that also presented some Swiss and German TV-shows. In that period she was also married to Eros Ramazzotti. Together they have also one daughter born in December 1996.
