Sony Flexible Oled
At the Las Vegas CES 2009 event, Sony introduces the future potentials of oled technology. With oled technology it is possible to make displays of any kind of device flexible. Sony already has a 2.5 inch screen that has a curving radius of 2.5 centimeters, which has been tested, being continuously bend for hours without detrimental effects to the display’s contrast and black level.

Further development of Sony Flexible Oled, offers wide new possibilities for Sony designers. Sony designers will be more free in their product designing, when screen shape limitations are no longer a barrier in determining the products form and size. So, don’t be surprised when new Sony products are a lot more curving and cornering then they are now!
