Jagermeister Wake Riderz 2008
The 4th edition of Jägermeister Wake Riderz took place at Lido-Almere. The Wake Riderz event was again packed with lots of action. The public that visited the Wake Riderz event could enjoy hot wakeboard stunts, BMX lakejump action and a great party on Saturday night.



Wake Riderz qualifications
Saturday the Jägermeister Wake Riderz started with the qualification round where the riders battled for the remaining 14 wildcards. After the Wake Riderz qualification it was time for the Big Air. In the dark and with spotlights on, it was time to see how high the riders could fly.

Wake Riderz disciplines
Sunday Wake Riderz started with the Best Trick discipline. Followed by the Obstacles as the second discipline of the day. Mike Ketellapper won both disciplines and proved why he became the world champion in Russia. Mayanka Jansen surprised in the Wake Riderz ladies division. She won the Best Trick discipline and became second in the Obstacle discipline after Maxine Sapulette.

BMX Lakejump
In between there was a special battle between riders from the world of windsurfing and kiteboarding. Totally new this year at the Wake Riderz event was the BMX Lakejump.
