Omega Scan 'O' Vision
The most known sports timekeeping device is the Omega Scan 'O' Vision. This photo-finish camera is set up at the finish line of the track. The Omega Scan 'O' Vision is actually a combination of a time detector and a chronograph. In contrast to what many will think, the finish line isn’t a photograph at all, at least not in the conventional sense. Instead, photo-finish images are produced using a high-tech image-capture device that records 2000 digital images per second, each separate image represents two-thousandth of second.
